Just moved to a fresh machine and I'm completely unable to get Plex to work. The crash log contains the following error:
Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/libcurl.4.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/Plex Media Server.app/Contents/MacOS/Plex Media Server
Reason: Incompatible library version: Plex Media Server requires version 8.0.0 or later, but libcurl.4.dylib provides version 7.0.0
I've tried removing the homebrew version of curl that I have, which did nothing to fix the problem. There's no Bundle files to delete so I can't reset that, and the logs indicate that the server can connect to the update service just fine.
If I force Plex to use the version of libcurl that comes with it the web interface will come up, but the server never finishes "starting" and all requests to the server end up returning 400 errors.
I'm at a bit of a loss about what to do next. Any ideas?
