Since my mac mini upgraded automatically to El Captain ver. 10.11.5 two days ago, My Plex Media Server does not initialise... or give any sign of life.
I have re-downloaded and reinstalled the DMG. I have wiped everything and tried reinstalling a clean installation of media server with the same result: no visible sign of anything loading.
Other funny things are also happening: computer visibly slowed, specially any operation involving accessing the HD, not saving many changes I make (specially if involves the system preferences - keyboard installed for example), and keeps getting a message: "can't connect to iCloud because a problem with "my iCloud account". when I put correct password to iCloud account, just keeps repeatedly asking the password.
would this be an conflict issue with the new PMS version and El Captain, a bug in El Captain, a corruption of the OSx, o (worst of all) a Mac virus??
