Hello!
Ever since manually downloading PMS "Version 0.9.15.0.1621-344f193 - Dec 23, 2015" from the Plex Pass Downloads section of the Plex website, and manually replacing my older PMS with said PMS 0.9.15.0, I have had to elect to "Allow" the acceptance of incoming network connections every single time that I restart my MacMini (El Capitan 10.11.2), as seen in my first screen cap.
This never happened with any previous version of PMS on stated MacMini. Also, even though I have elected to "Allow" the acceptance of incoming network connections, as seen in my second screen cap, the settings are not remembered after a restart.
I'm not certain whether or not it is normal for these Security & Privacy settings to be forgotten after a restart, as my Sonos settings stay as they are in the second screen cap. Why do Plex's disappear after every restart?
Other information which may help: when I first launched PMS 0.9.15.0, the app first brought up a small modal window that had text to the effect of "... validating Plex Media Server" (not verbatim, as I didn't really try to remember it). It had a progress bar that progressed very slowly and took about 30 seconds to get to the end. Perhaps it was trying to contact the Plex servers to "validate" the app and it failed, so I get the annoyance of having to "Allow" incoming network connections each time?
