Hi folks, I've been experiencing problems lately with getting Remote Access enabled.
For some reason, PublicAddressManager (PAM) returns the wrong public IP. Looking at my Console logs, I can see a few different IPs being obtained by PAM over the course of a few minutes. Naturally, the Plex central servers will fail to successfully connect.
Occasionally, the right public IP gets pulled by PAM; the server mapping then completes successfully.
My router has the right public IP. No double NAT situations – I have two routers in bridge mode providing Wifi coverage.
The correct public IP is returned when I go to http://plex.tv/pms/:/ip
On the port forwarding side, I have UPnP enabled and it's worked great in the past. I can see the Plex forwarding rules being created in the router port forwarding tables and I can access Plex/Web by accessing [mypublicIP:port/web] from a machine outside my network.
I'm out of ideas on where the spurious public IP info is coming from. What am I missing?
