Music metadata all screwed up

I have over 18,000 tracks so I don't have time to go through every single track. I've spent tons of time making sure the metadata on my files is correct. iTunes reads the metadata perfectly. I've run into an issue where I have music from a band named "Angel". I checked the metadata on the actual file and everything looks fine. When Plex finds this file it renames the band to "D'Angelo". When I go into the Plex interface to update the name of the band back to "Angel", Plex decides this is incorrect and changes the band name back to "D'Angelo". Not sure where Plex is getting the information to change the name of the band - this information is NOT in the file. Why not just use the metadata information in the file, instead of trying to guess what I want, just read what I have? I thought Apple was frustrating at times trying to control what I want to do with my information - Plex seems to be worse. I also ran into issues with any music from the band AC/DC. It's obvious Plex struggles with this band name since a "/" is part of the name. At the moment I can't use Plex to stream my music when the metadata on the files streamed by Plex is not read correctly.
