So here is my issue ( I did do s brief search but cant seem to find an exact problem like mine)
So like I have mentioned I have PMS running on Mac OS on a an G5 2.66 GHz Quad Core Intell Xeon always guess this should have enough juice to run PMS with no problem. Then I have 2 Samsung Smart Tv's that I use the smart app to connect to my PMS.
Connection no problem just I have noticed that the smart TV closest to my PMS box players find 90% of the time but the smart tv we have in the bedroom I am always having buffering issues when player larger high quality files so 720 and up.
I have the same issue on occasion on the TV closest to the PMS box but it just means playing whatever I want to watch via VLC which is frustrating but as my PMS box uses my TV as the monitor it's not perfect but i make do I am right there.
My growing frustration is that there seem to be less and less media I am able to to stream to my bedroom. Yes fair enough more of my media is of a larger quality but shouldn't the spec of my PMS box be able to stream it without a problem. Is there a setting I can change that will allow the TV in the bedroom to stream the the media better?
Anyone have a similar issue and is there a solution?
