Hi folks,
I'm a huge fan of Plex and i've been very happily using it for quite some time, running a PMS server on my Windows 7 pc, connected to two D-Link DNS320 NAS enclosures.
I've never had any issues or problems of any kind in many months of use. I used to stream my media using wifi down to the living room tv using a WDTV Live box.
I recently decided that it would be great to be able to set up a 24/7 Plex server that I can also share with a few friends, and benefit from a better HTPC experience.

I opted for the entry range Mac Mini, and set this up by my tv. I'm not using PHT. (NB: this is also my first mac and I'm a total novice at using an Apple OS on a computer.)
I have both NAS boxes connected by ethernet to a bridge, and the bridge is connected to the Mac Mini. (I did have the Mini working on a wireless connection, but I added the ethernet cable to try and eliminate wireless connection variables)
One point of note of is that on both NAS boxes the main directory the MAC connects to is "Volume_1" - it occurs to me that it is conceivable that this could be causing a conflict?
One NAS (the one most frequently being used), requires authentication and i've added it to startup items to reconnect this drive each time it boots, or I set it manually if required.
The other NAS does not require authentication. My partner has reported that she doesn't really get errors when streaming media from her box.

I've had a browse through logs and seen some Broken Pipe error 32 entries - watching a movie tonight, the freezes were happening, on average, every 10 minutes.
There are other wireless devices connected to Plex in the house, but usually these errors are happening when we are watching stuff on the TV and not when other devices are being used.
I was running the PMS on Windows 7 as well as the Mac Mini at first, and the current network setup wasn't having any issues at that time. The issues have all started with the Mac running PMS.
I'm running out of ideas on what I can check or look at to resolve these issues as they are really ruining my Plex experience - I'm quite keen to learn more about the Mac's OS and features, but the current performance issues have me concerned, and I'm half tempted to get rid of it and build a small form factor pc instead.
Any thoughts would be most gratefully accepted!
