My Plex server has been down for several weeks, and I haven't had a chance to attack the problem again until today. I've attempted to install only stable releases, and I've unstalled everything Plex (mericlessly) and cleaned up all the leftovers. So I started yesterday with a "Plex Fee Zone" and installed (or attempted to) Plex Media Server (1.7.2) and Plex Media Player (1.3.2.657..." The app seems to install properly but the server glitches out on the step "Move the app to your SD card". I can chose "Yes" which results in that computer locking up, or no, then drag/drop the app into the specified folder. Either way, the server will not come up no matter how I've tried. To be clear the client seems fine, but the server won't launch.
This last week, I had worked to eliminate all Plex content from the Mac hoping for a clean install. Even that failed. Please advise, any help is appreciated!
