I signed up for Plex yesterday and installed it on an iMac and it worked fine and was accessible outside the network. On my main computer in another property set up the Plex server and I get message saying it is not available outside the network. I have a main router and an extender. I tried the following:
- turning the extender off and just using main router - problem still exists;
- putting main router in bridge mode. Main router didn't;t like this and had problems getting internet signal;
- creating port forwarding on my router - did everything that instructions on Plex website said. Still not working.
I am at a loss an wonder if there is anything else I can try.
