I plan to set up an Amazon Fire TV with Plex for a friend and would like to attach a USB drive with locally-stored media onto his iMac for streaming.
I've used the Seagate Backup Plus for backing up materials and like them, since it's possible to share data with Mac and PC, but I've never used one for streaming before.
Has anyone used a Seagate Backup Plus this way on Plex and if so, did everything seem to work OK?
