So I've been using plex for some time now. Right now i am running Plex Media Server Version 1.4.3.3433 on Google Chrome on an Early 2014 model MacBook Air. I use The media server itself to watch my content (not Plex Home Theatre). One day suddenly plex started not playing videos (movies, TV shows or home videos). I start the video, it buffers, but gets stuck on the first frame. If I try moving to a further point in the video same thing happens. It freezes on that particular frame. Its only the player that gets stuck as I still can get out of the player or go into fullscreen etc. There is no buffering spinner. It looks like it is playing, except it isn't. This happens in the HTML5 player. I tried changing the player and the videos now started playing like usual. Of sorts. When i use the Flash player the videos start ok but there is no sound at all (files are perfectly ok). Also when I use the flash player if I pause and then play the same thing happens with the HTML5 player. The video gets stuck on that particular frame. Same thing happens when I try to jump to a point.
