Difference between iTunes Channel and Plex Music

Hi all,

What's the difference between the two ways of getting your music into the PMS? I tried both and both seem to work OK superficially (I've been on it for half a day only...)

Is one way better at keeping stuff in sync between iTunes and Plex?

Also, any differences between the two methods with paid/unpaid account?
