Mac Mini 2011 Server with a DroboPro FW800 or iSCSI?

Hey Everyone,
Just curious what your thoughts are, for about a year now, I've been using a Mac Mini Server Mid 2011, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 2.0 i7 Quad Core and it's run like a champ. I store all my movies/music/tv shows on a DroboPro with 16TB of storage connected to the Mac Mini via FireWire 800. Just curious, the DroboPro also supports gigabit ethernet iSCSI, to kinda future proof my setup a lil more, should I switch to iSCSI? or just stick with the FireWire 800 connection? My only concern is with the iSCSI method, there's only 1 ethernet jack on the Mac Mini, so there be data coming in from the Drobo as well as going out to my Roku and not sure how much the stress would be on the bandwidth vs the current setup where the content comes in from firewire and out through ethernet.

Just looking for a Weekend project to help make Plex better in my house.

Thanks in advance!
