I'm running my Plex Media Server on my iMac at my office.
I'm running it from my Drobo 5D which is directly connected to my computer via firewire.
All too frequently, whether it's because I've restarted my computer or the Drobo or just for what seems like no reason at all, I sign into my account and get the message "Media Server Unavailable." (Obviously, there is a reason).
I've found the only way to get it back up and running is to delete the server, delete all files from the Application Support and Cache folders. Then I have to reinstall all my playlists. I'm finding that this is occurring almost two to three times a month, if not more.
I've read through the suggested article, but don't know enough to understand the intricacies of what I need to do.
I'm getting frustrated at the lack of reliability.
Could someone please walk me through how to check my iOS settings?
