My Plex server is always shown as Nearby even though I'm accessing it on the same machine. To be clear:
- The Plex server runs on my Mac.
- On that same Mac, when looking at the server in my list of servers, it shows as Nearby (see screenshot).
- If my Mac is offline, I can no longer load Plex and the message "Plex is not reachable" is displayed.
Clearly, even though my server is on my local machine, it's being accessed as a remote server. I'm not sure if it's a permission issue or something else. It's possible this happened after I migrated the server to a new computer. I tried reclaiming the server as well as various other things from people who seem to have a similar problem, but couldn't fix the issue.
