I'm (re)digitizing my library and want two audio and two subtitle tracks. The first audio track is down-sampled to 2-channel for compatibility of playing on stereo devices, or for devices that don't know how to find the second audio track (which is 6-channel). The first subtitle track is forced-only foreign language, the second is English (neither burned in).
1) Is there a way to default Plex to use the second 6-channel audio track? (Or the "better" of the two tracks in case I have older files where track one is better)
2) Despite the Plex subtitle mode "shown with foreign audio", I still must select my embedded foreign subtitle track (ala Handbrake). Why does this Plex preference not seem to do anything, what do I need to do differently?
3) Is there a way to default Plex to use the Handbrake'd foreign audio track, and not the entire movie subtitle track? (The pattern to my files is if there's two subtitle tracks, then the first is foreign audio and preferred to be on. If there's only one subtitle track, then it's for the entire movie and is preferred to be off.)
If there aren't ways to have Plex default to my likes on audio & subtitle tracks, is there a way to automatically go through my collection individually and set my preferences on each movie file, such as an Apple Script or something?
