I have tried PMS for the Apple TV, the Synology NAS (a DS-213, which is where my media files reside), and the MacBook Pro (an early 2015 model. All of these devices are running the latest OS in their respective cases....and nothing works. I have gone so far as to subscribe to Plex Pass (I am now registered),and still nothing.
The MacBook Pro is best, since it will display all (or most) of videos and music. But after the first day, it started to respond to all attempts to play back with the message "Unable to establish a playback session."
I am unwilling to proceed further with this problem until I can clarify what, exactly, is going on. Any ideas?
