I read that topic, but nothing is showing up in a Library I added.
I have a few videos I want to store like a TV Show and be able to use Seasons to group them. I read the above article and chose a TV Show type for the Library and pointed it at the relevant folder but the Library still shows as empty. There are quite a few files in a normal TV Show structure (each Season is a folder), but there are some with no Season and hence no sub folders (this is how iTunes does it). But this shouldn't really be a problem as each file contains all the metadata required. PMS doesn't actually need to go and find anything else as everything is fully tagged and identified in iTunes and hence embedded in the file. So it seems to me that PMS should simply scan the Library folder for every movie file, read the tags and create the entry in the Plex Library. Yet it is singularly failing to do this.
I also added another TV Show type Library and pointed that at the iTunes TV Shows folder and hundreds of episodes and TV Shows have been 'imported' and can be browsed and played in Plex. So the basic process seems correct, but why is the first TV Shows type Library (far fewer files in the folder than the second one) showing as empty, yet the second, larger one seems to be correctly populated?
