Since installing El Capitan, I have been having constant pausing issues any movie that I try and watch on my FireTV. Sometimes it can go for 10+ minutes with no problem and then start having issues repeatedly. When Yosemite was installed, I never had these problems. I have tried lowering the video quality, using the experimental player and the legacy transcode, rebooting but nothing helps. It happens so much that I have given up using FireTV now and switching over to AppleTV. What is also odd is the iOS version works fine and using my browser works fine too. It only is with Plex on FireTV.
On the FireTV I have also uninstalled Plex and re-installed several times with no help. All my videos are either mp4 or mv4 and it shares the same library as iTunes. If i switch to AppleTV, I never have these issues. My FireTV is hard-wired and accessing the library on the same network. Just at a loss on what to do next.
Is this just a compatibility issue with OS X 10.11 or a problem with FireTV?
Thanks in advance for anyone that might have any ideas.
