I am running server version Version 1.2.7.2987 on OS X 10.11.6 and have no issues accessing the server and streaming media on devices connected to the local network. I have tried the iOS app one iOS 10 on a iPhone and iPad, the apple tv app and plex web in safari.
The problem come up when attempting to stream when not connected to the local network. The server shows as online and connected, you can browse libraries, see movie and tv show data but when you click play all you get is a black screen and a spinner.
I have disabled and reenabled the remote access in the media server app, restarted the machine, turned off the OS X firewall, restarted my cable modem and router, and now I am out of things to try.
Has anyone seen this issue and/or been able to resolve it?
