I have tried everything. I've done every trick in the book - I cannot get the server to connect to remote clients no matter what I do. The answer to almost every question you might have for me is Yes. I've tried everything documented in Plex support pages.
I periodically am able to get connected through an "Indirect" connection - but my status page always shows that I have No remote connectivity. Yes - I have a Static IP. I've turned firewall completely off on all involved devices. No antivirus, VPN, Proxy, etc. Port forwarding does not work.
I started having these issues on my Comcast network about 2 weeks ago. I switched to CenturyLink over the weekend - and I have the exact same issues with CenturyLink. I have two completely separate Plex servers on my network - both on completely different systems - and they are both having this same Remote Access issue. I'm running a Plex DVR Beta on an iMac (version 1.2.0.2838). I am also running a current production release of Plex on my QNAP server (version 1.2.6.2975). My CenturyLink modem is a "technicolor C2100T" modem.
Any suggestions beyond what has been documented in the Plex forums and help pages? Anything else I can try?
