I have a PLEX Remote Access PROBLEM on my Rogers Gigabyte Rocket Modem (Hitron CGNM-3552-ROG)
Let me start by saying I have read, and tried, everything as explained in several forum posts, but I still get "Not available outside your network." and "Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network."
1. I've disabled and enabled the port.
2. I've tried to manually specify public port.
3. I've used different port numbers.
4. I've matched the WAN IP from my router to my IP address to rule out a Double NAT situation.
5. I've disabled and enabled UPNP on the Rogers Gigabyte Rocket Modem (Hitron CGNM-3552-ROG).
6. I've used the PortForward site to verify I have port forwarding setup correctly.
7. I've rebooted the modem.
8. I've rebooted the MAC I am using.
9. I've changed MTU settings in Preferences>Network>Advanced>Hardware> on my MAC.
NOTHING works to solve this problem. Can ANYONE help???
NOTE: I also have 'PrivateInternetAccess' (PIA) private network service but have disabled it until I find out what is causing this problem, even though I know that many people are using PIA with their PLEX Server without any problems.
