Since last night's ios update to version 10.12 can not connect to, or uninstallreinstall Plex server

I have looked at the support forums and found nothing to help. Opening the app, it refuses to acknowledge the server, despite that being on the same Mac I'm accessing the server from via a chrome tab, as I have for several years now.

I've uninstalled Plex entirely with Clean My Mac 3 and attempted to reinstall the latest from your webpage, and that resulting install file stalls after clicking "add to applications" and nothing else happens.

I pay for Plex and have for some time now. I recall being able to access direct customer service for just such occasions as this, when the product I'm paying you for fails to work. What am I supposed to do now?

Machine spec iMac 27 inch from late 2013, processor 3.4 gjz intel core 15 memory 16 gb 1600 mhz ddr3 graphics nvidia geforce gtx 775m 2048 mb running macOS Sierra version 10.12 (16a323)

I can not get plex server to fully install or launch. Help?
