"There was a problem signing in to Plex"

Hi,

I've searched on the forums and found multiple threads on this particular issue, some have been resolved for the user, and some haven't.

I'm unable to connect to plex on any of my devices (Currently Attempting on 2x Samsung TV's and a PS4).
When prompted on the device app to put the 4 digit passcode in to sync the devices, it connects and then displays the error message.
"There seems to be a problem
User doesn't have access to any servers or shared content"
From research, it seems that other people with the same issue have found it to be an issue with the server not logging in.

I can log in via the Plex server, but not via Settings>Server (if that makes sense)
So when i click on Settings>Server There is a red '!' Next to the remote access tab and it prompts to sign in.
So in the Settings>Server>General Tab, when i attempt to sign in, it displays the message "There was a problem signing in to Plex"

I have searched online at numerous pages and they recommended i remove the following packages and restart the server

  • System.Bundle
  • Framework.bundle
  • siteconfigurations.bundle

This did not fix the issue.
It shows that i'm logged in on the top right, but won't log in under settings>Server.

I can play media on my Mac (which is the server), but i can't play anything on any other devices.
I have upgraded to the latest Plex version 2.4.9

Is there anyone that can help, as i've spent hours trying to fix this issue and am ready to ditch Plex altogether as it's literally unusable right now.

Thanks,

Kyle
