OSX - Dolby Digital Plus

Hi,
I just recoreded my first home video on, lets say, my family with DD+ codec.

When i try to play it on thrugt plex on my osx machine the sound is not as it should. Sounds like an anthill preparing for a war...

Browsing the plex website i see that there should be an option for selecting "Enable passthrough audio for Dolby Digital Plus audio." or similar. But this option does not exsist on the plex osx client (?)

The setup is Mac Mini -(HDMI Video/Audio)-> Pioneer VSX-923 -(HDMI Video)-> TV.

VSX supports DD+

It works with all other codecs i have tried. Any ideas?

Thanks
