all of a sudden i am unable to connect to my Plex Media server via my Samsung smart TV? On the odd occasion i need to change the last number in the IP address so the tv can connect, last time i tried this i got the error message
"Test Failed, server is reachable but it returned 'Access is denied'
Connect with your Plex account that is the owner of this server, or turn 'Require authentication on local networks' off in its Media Manager"
to the best of my knowledge i am connected with a Plex and i am the owner of the server (this has not changed in years) the other option of turning off the Require authentication on local networks has me stumped i cannot find this option on my server.
I am running Plex from a Mac all have been running perfectly for years not sure what has happened on the last couple of weeks?
also I can still get access from 2 iPads no problems, should i be looking for a Plex update for the TV??
any help would be greatly appreciated.
