Every few months or so an update to the PMS wipes out my web interface's sound stream icons. Sometimes its the Dolby Digital icon, sometimes its the DTS icon. The only way I've successfully gotten them back is to completely wipe out the server and restore my library. But with the number of custom poster files and edits I've made, I really, really do not want to do that again...nor should we have to for something so small as this.
Can anyone point me to exactly what file is to blame for this? I've tried deleting the plug-ins folder, but that's useless. I've also already deleted the entire Cache folder from Plug-in Support, to no avail. The data is there, at is shows on the Plex iOS, Samsung TV and Apple TV apps. This has been something I've dealt with a couple times a year due to updates.
This is a topic that pops up all over the boards, and no one that I can find has come up with a quick and easy way to fix this short of deleting the server and reinstalling a fresh copy. There HAS to be an easier way. Can someone from Plex point us in the right direction?
