I have the following directory structure:
TV Shows
+ BattleBots (2015)
+ Season 00
BattleBots (2015) - s00e00 - The Gears Awaken.mp4
+ Season 02
BattleBots (2015) - s02e01 - Robots Activate_ The Qualifying Round Begins.mp4
BattleBots (2015) - s02e02 - There Will Be Bot Blood_ The Qualifying Round Concludes.mp4
...
BattleBots (2015) - s02e08-e09 - The Quarterfinals & Championship
The TV DB page for Season 2 of BattleBots shows that "The Gears Awaken" is a special episode (which is why I've put it in the Season 00 directory, as per the [Plex guide](I have read https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200220707-Naming-TV-Show-Specials- "Plex guide")) I then have 8 additional mp4 files in "Season 02" making up the 9 episodes outlined on The TV DB.
When Plex reads in this directory structure, I see two issues.
First, a "Specials" season appears, inside of which contains a video with title "Episode 1". While this is the actual "The Gears Awaken" video, I was expecting it to be named as such, and to pull the relevant information down from TheTVDb. If I name "The Gears Awaken" to use s00eYY instead, it doesn't appear at all. I'm not sure if I'm naming it correctly based off of The TV DB.
Second, the titles of all of the episodes in Season 2 are offset by 1. The first episode (which is really "Robots Activate" under the hood) has a title of "The Gears Awaken", the second episode (which is really "There Will Be Bot Blood" under the hood) has a title of "Robots Activate", and so on. Why is a title meant for a "Special" item (according to The TV DB) being pulled down into a non-special season? Is this affecting the offset issues? Or is it the combined episode 8+9 file I have?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
