Since updates have been release beyond 0.9.12.19, my old Mac Mini running 10.6.8 (yes, I know, Snow Leopard) has been saying it needs an update, but when I try to install PMS versions newer than 0.9.12.19, it says my Mac isn't capable of running it. Really? I know the Mac is old, but really?
So now Plex says it can't run the Web App if the Mac Server isn't updated, however; I can hit the link to go to the home location on the server and everything runs fine.
I find it hard to believe that a machine that can still can decode and re-encode current media file formats, serve web pages, etc. cannot handle PMS version 1.0.3.2461! It's a shame, because the original beauty of Plex was that it could be served up from even rudimentary systems.
Since this update was required to facilitate PMS on the Nvidia Shield, does this also mean you are expecting that there are so many more people out there wanting to use an Nvidia Shield to serve up content compared to the number of people you've now effectively precluded from using PMS by making their legacy servers obsolete?
