It finally happened.
The latest PMS update served the death blow to my old trusty silver Mac tower, running pre-Mountain Lion OSX.
The motherboard/processor doesn't support any further OSX updates, so at this point, the PMS can't be updated either.
I have 6 HDs inside this tower, totaling over 32TB of TV/Movie magic.
Anyone have any creative solutions?
I'm okay with building a brand new server for myself, but what options are the top of the line for doing so? Are there any Mac solutions that won't break the bank?
I even looking at hosted server solutions using Amazon Web Services, but I don't like the idea of the files not being able to be on my own network, where I can serve the original file without transcoding...so still toying with that one.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
