Shortly after starting up, PMS starts to use between 200KB/sec and 2.2MB/sec of outbound bandwidth.
Remote access has been disabled on my server. I've changed my password and forced re-authentication on all devices.
When the bandwidth is being used, the server status shows no active sessions.
I've blocked a few IPs, but as soon as I block one, another steps in and starts sucking bandwidth.
I don't have a cloud server set up.
Right now, Plex is uploading a lot of data to 45.79.142.250, which seems to be owned by an ISP called Linode, an ISP I've seen mentioned here as a host for Plex pubsub servers.
I'm certain that it is Plex that's using the bandwidth because the moment I quit PMS, outbound bandwidth drops dramatically.
I'm running Plex 0.9.16.6 on MacOS 10.10.5
I've tried reinstalling Plex, but that's made no difference.
Has anyone seen this behavior? Obviously, I've stopped using Plex until I can sort this out.
