TV Show episode sequence out-of-order, how do I fix it?

The short version: When I play through the episodes of Magnum P.I., Plex jumps from S02E03 to S04E01 in the On Deck section. How do I get on-deck line them up in-order?

The long version: I have the complete Magnum P.I. DVD set copied into my media library (managed by Plex, obviously) using the Plex naming convention. All episodes and all seasons. Plex picked it up properly and added meta-data and poster. Everything looks right in the Library view. When I started playing through the episodes in Plex (starting with episode S01E01) it worked fine until part way through season 2 when it suddenly jumped to season 4.

Other TV shows have (so far) worked perfectly from S01E01 through to as far as I've watched.

The only mildly odd thing I did is to copy the DVDs out of order because I was watching the season 1 DVD while copying the others. They were copied in roughly reverse order into a "staging area" where I could rename each episode and then move each season en-mass into the Plex media library. Once they were all copied in, I started watching through Plex (from the 1st episode of season 1).

Initially, I thought perhaps Plex was getting confused due to the create date of the episodes not being in the same order so I used the touch command to change the create date and last modified date of each episode and put them all in order that way. It didn't change anything.

I'm playing the episodes on my Roku through the Plex app. The Plex server is on my iMac. No software updates (on either device) are pending. I've also checked the Plex web interface and it shows the same issue with on-deck.

Any idea how to fix this?
