Really need some urgent help with this one, it is quite strange..
I moved one of my folders containing media files and went to the settings in for my TV Shows section to add the new location. I stupidly added the directory above which contained movies as well. I hit refresh on my TV Shows section and after about 30sec realised my mistake and hit cancel (possibly a few times a bit frantically so it may have stopped and started the process once or twice).
Ever since I have unable to access the server on Plex/Web either locally on the same computer the server is on (using http://127.0.0.1:32400) or on other computers on the local network (using https://app.plex.tv/web/app). I have tried connecting insecurely, using different browsers, restarting both the plex server and the computer running it.
At the time it happened the server was running version 0.9.16.4. I tried manually updating it by replacing it with a download of 0.9.16.6 which made no difference.
Weirdly I can access the server on the clients I have (Plex Media Player and Plex iOS). Video files play and I've not noticed any issues.
I can access a shared server and cloud sync using Plex/Web without a problem.
If I go to https://app.plex.tv/web/app#!/settings/server it just says "Server settings are unavailable"
At one point in plex/web I got a message at the top saying "an unclaimed server has been found on your network, click here to claim it" I clicked it but it just took me to a page which just says "Server settings are unavailable".
If use plex/web to go to Settings > Devices > Server I can see my server there. It says 12hrs on it which is inaccurate as that pre-dates the problem and it was in use much more recently than that.The only thing i can think to try is to remove the server on this page and hope I am able to add it again but i am worried that will leave me not able to access my media at all.
Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to start building the library from scratch and lose all my playstate info!
