Hello!
I'm interested in a solution for letting Plex Media Server update itself through the web interface, without it asking for a username and password on the desktop computer it's running on.
First doing declare -x DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR="$(getconf DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR)
then tried adding:
/Applications/Plex Media Server.app/Contents/Resources/updater
$DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR/_Plex Updater.app/Contents/MacOS/Plex Updater
to the sudoers file1 with the NOPASSWD
flag (and doing Defaults env_keep += "DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR"
), but it's still asking for credentials.
Any ideas?

I know this isn't the safest of solutions, security wise, but I'm still interested ↩
