Since server upgrade: We couldn't locate a server error message

I have Roku built into my TV and a MacPro running 10.9.5. It has been working flawlessly for six months. Then I upgraded the software on the Plex web site. Ever since then whenever I try to use Plex, I get the error: We couldn't locate a server.

I've quit both the server on the website, and the app on the TV. When I log in again, the web site is okay. However, when I enter the four digit code, it says: "App linked You're all set!"

However, after a short pause, I am back at the error message: We couldn't locate a server.

Restarting my computer does not seem to help.

What else can I do to resolve this?
