Hello everyone,
I have plex running on Mac OSx 10.11.3 and I'm using Plex Home Theater app as well on this machine.
Machine Specs:
2.7ghz i7
8gb Ram
500gb SSD
10.5TB USB 3.1 RAID box connected
The issue is totally random and I can't replicate it. I'll come and turn on my TV, press my input button to go to my Plex (mac) server, and the home theater app is scaled down to a different resolution then the Mac's display. I haven't logged into the machine in 2 days and found it like this. Sometime it goes days, sometimes hours before it does this. Remote access into the machine, rebooting the HDMI receiver, nothing I try forces this issue to happen. However it's been non-stop since day 1.
The odd thing is I have an exact clone of this server (hardware/software wise) installed at my cabin and I don't have this issue.
I reformatted the HDD, reinstalled OSx and tried older versions of OSX to see if that would help. Issue is present on all versions.
Here is an example of how the Media App looses focus and scales down to a different resolution.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
