Why is my library not indexed correctly?

Dear Forum members,

I have recently started using Plex, and while I find it is an amazing tool, I am at my whits and trying to get it to configure correctly all my programs which are catalogued correctly (as far as I can tell).

I asked Plex to re-scan a few times my TV program section to no avail. I then started looking online for the answer. I quickly found advise which stated that the correct titling must be inlace for each episode, so I bought "FileBot" to assist me. I spent a whole day re cataloguing my entire collection and was happy to see 'Scanning TV section' each time I made the changes in each folder.
However, I am having the same problem as before. I have signed out from Plex - then back in. I have re-started my iMac and my Apple TV4, several times. but I am getting the same problems.

Some of the indexes I see on my Apple TV actually play the program I expect to watch, but there are many series which are completely screwed up no matter what I try, for example;
If I choose to watch "Absolutely Fabulous" series 1 episode 1........
I get the artwork for "Benidorm" and if I press 'Play' i get an episode of 'Friends'!!!! :-(

Many of the programs in my external hard drive are as screwed up as this example, trying to watch whatever program, then the artwork is miss-matched and the wrong program will play, while others function perfectly. The correct cover art and the corresponding program which plays perfectly.

Can anybody please give me some advise on what i should try next?

I have also tried:
Opening Fix Incorrect Match
To access the feature:
Open the details/preplay screen for the item in Plex Web App
Click the ... in the left actionbar to expose additional actions
Choose "Fix Incorrect Match"

However, when I try this technique, there is no "Fix incorrect match" listed, and surely this can't be what needs to be down for every single episode of every series that I have!
There must be a way of scanning that will correctly identify my TV shows.

Hopefully someone will know the answer to this frustrating situation. All my movies are on a separate external hard drive and they all work correctly.

I look forward to receiving some tips on what to try next.

Thank you in advance.

David
