I run PMS on my Mac Mini, most recent version of everything. I leave the computer on at all times and PMS logged in. I recently set up Plex Home with an admin user for me, and managed users for my wife & kid.
As you read, bear in mind that Plex was working fine all weekend and we watched two movies while out of state.
This evening I went to change user settings and here's the sequence of increasingly bizarre events:
1. Went to Server Settings on the web UI. Clicked the Users tab, and got the blank page alert "Your Home is unavailable"
2. Closed & reopened the web UI. Went to Server Settings and now the Users tab is gone.
3. Quit & restarted PMS. Users tab still gone.
4. Restarted the computer. Users tab still gone.
5. Logged out. Now I can't log back in. ("There was a problem signing in to Plex.") Triple checked username & password.
6. Restarted the computer again. Now alerted that there's an unclaimed media server. Still won't let me log in.
7. Server Settings had just said the current version was correct, but now says "Version 0.9.15.6 !Something went wrong. Please install manually." I had not recently installed a server update and updates are not set to install automatically.
8. With no other obvious option, I clicked the "Please install manually" link which brings up a completely blank Safari window with "[lock] Plex, Inc." in reassuring green in the URL window.
9. Manually typing the "plex.tv" address now consistently produces a completely blank window. I'm unable to even reach the PMS download page.
10. Changing browsers produces the same result. All other websites are fine. "status.plex.tv" does work, and states that everything is fine.
This clearly (?) isn't me. Anyone have any idea what the heck is going on here?
