Plex is a wonderful thing. The idea is great, the look is great, it organizes and gives info on all video files and even adds subtitles automatically. So why is the streaming to Chromecast so bad? It looks great when it is working but it has some serious flaws. Video gets jumpy WAY too often. And when trying to jump to a different part of a video, the time it takes to load and start playing again is WAY to long. It seems the technology is out there to make these things much better. I've tried the Videostream app for Chrome in order to stream videos to my Chromecast and it works so much better. Looks great, video doesn't get choppy, and works very fast when jumping to a different part of a video. Plex seems so advanced in so many ways and has been around a lot longer. So why can't they get the Chromecast streaming improved?
