I have a library with all Home Videos and there are thousands of them and each scan takes hours and really slows down my computer. I can see in the status that it is matching/downloading/processing metadata for each file even though there is nothing to match for my home videos and I only ever browse them in Folder view. Is there any way to simply turn off the whole metadata processing so I can import my files quickly?
In my library settings I have my library set to Home Videos, video preview thumbnails and enable cinema trailers is turned off, Agent is set to "Personal Media", and Scanner is set to "Plex Video Files Scanner". Is there any setting I can change to turn off metadata processing altogether?
