How do I fix Plex Server from gettin stuck on the import process when I am creating a music library?

Plex Server is stuck when I am creating a music library. I check iTunes box and then the iTunes Music folder hit go and it just spins--for days, not populating any music. I hear people complain about this but could someone give me a FIX
